5 All-Inclusive Resorts Still Under 25,000 Points a Night

Hyatt's award chart got a lot more expensive in 2026. These five properties didn't get the memo.

Updated July 2026 · World of Hyatt Award Chart

If you've been redeeming Hyatt points for all-inclusive stays for a while, you already know the bad news: the chart got a lot pricier this year. Properties that used to run 25,000 points a night — Hyatt Ziva Cancún included — are now sitting at 50,000. If you're chasing the redemptions everyone talks about, you're paying double what you used to.

But the chart didn't move everywhere at once. A handful of properties — some brand new, some just quietly under the radar — are still sitting at 20,000 to 25,000 points a night. That's the same range the "good" Hyatt redemptions used to live in before this year's changes. Here are five of them, with real cash comparisons so you can see exactly what you're getting.

Quick refresher on how this works: Hyatt's all-inclusive properties use a separate award chart (Categories A through F) from its regular hotels. All of the resorts below fall in Category B or the low end of Category D — the sweet spot before pricing jumps into the 40,000+ range. All figures below are current as of this writing, but Hyatt's chart and category assignments do move, so verify pricing on hyatt.com before you transfer any points.

01
Hyatt Vivid Grand Island
CANCÚN, MEXICO · CATEGORY B
Points / Night
20,000
Off-Peak
17,000
Cash Rate
$300–400
~1.7¢ per point

This is one of Hyatt's newest all-inclusive resorts in Cancún, and new properties almost always launch at a lower category before getting bumped up in the next chart revision — so this is a "book it before it changes" situation. The tradeoff: there's no direct beach access, but you're a short cab ride from the Hotel Zone. What you get instead is a massive pool complex, multiple restaurants, and a livelier, more social atmosphere than Hyatt's traditional all-inclusives.

Best for: Travelers who want Cancún at the cheapest point cost currently available, and don't need to be directly on the sand.

02
Bahia Principe Luxury Akumal
RIVIERA MAYA, MEXICO · MID-TIER (BAHIA PRINCIPE LUXURY)
Points / Night
20,000
Cash Rate
$300+
Value
1.5¢/pt
~1.5¢ per point

Bahia Principe joined World of Hyatt's Inclusive Collection in March 2026, adding 22 properties across Mexico, the Dominican Republic, Jamaica, and Spain's Canary Islands. Akumal sits between Playa del Carmen and Tulum, with three pools, swim-up suite options, and a full spa. It's positioned a step below Dreams Resorts and a step above the entry-level Sunscape brand — solid, not flashy, but a legitimate all-inclusive at a fair points price.

Best for: A quieter Riviera Maya location without the Cancún Hotel Zone crowds.

03
Bahia Principe Escape Runaway Bay
RUNAWAY BAY, JAMAICA · ADULTS-ONLY
Points / Night
21,000
Cash Rate
$320+
Value
1.52¢/pt
~1.52¢ per point

Also part of the March 2026 Bahia Principe addition, this adults-only property has five restaurants, three bars, and ocean-view suite options. It sits within a larger complex that includes a family-oriented sister property, so if you're traveling with a mixed group, you can split up and still be steps from each other.

Best for: Couples who want Jamaica without a kids-club soundtrack.

⚠️ One Bahia Principe property to skip: Bahia Principe Escape Samana (Dominican Republic) prices at 23,000 points a night against a cash rate around $150 — that's roughly 0.65¢ per point, well under break-even. Same brand, same launch, bad math. Category and cash rate don't always move together — always run the numbers per-property, not per-brand.

04
Dreams Playa Bonita Panama
PANAMA CITY, PANAMA · CATEGORY B
Points / Night
20,000
Cash Rate
$190–300
Value
~1.5¢/pt
~1.5¢ per point

If every points video you've seen is set in Cancún or Punta Cana, this is the one that stands out in a feed. Panama isn't a typical all-inclusive points destination, which means less competition for award space and a genuinely different backdrop — eleven seaside towers, Pacific coastline views, and a lower cash rate than most comparable Mexico or Caribbean properties.

Best for: Something different from the usual Cancún/Riviera Maya rotation, at a lower cash price than most of this list.

05
Dreams Las Mareas Costa Rica
GUANACASTE, COSTA RICA · CATEGORY D
Off-Peak
25,000
Cash Rate
$490–700
Value
2.0¢+/pt
2.0¢+ per point — best value on this list

This one sits right at the top of our 25,000-point cutoff, but the cash rate makes it the strongest redemption on this entire list. Average nightly cash rates run $490-700, which puts the points value well above 2 cents per point — genuinely excellent for an all-inclusive redemption. The resort has 447 suites (each with a private hot tub), jungle and ocean views, and a location near the Nicaragua border that most points travelers overlook entirely.

Best for: The single best cents-per-point value on this list, if you don't mind Category D pricing at the high end of "under 25K."

How to Actually Book These

1
Confirm award space first. Before you transfer a single point, search the resort directly on hyatt.com and confirm your dates show up on points. Availability changes constantly.
2
Open your Chase app → Rewards → Transfer Points → World of Hyatt. If you don't already have a World of Hyatt account, create one — it's free and takes two minutes.
3
Link your Hyatt account to your Chase Ultimate Rewards account, then transfer the exact number of points you confirmed in step one.
4
Transfers are instant but irreversible. Only transfer once you're ready to book immediately.
5
Book the award on hyatt.com using your newly transferred points.

Chase Ultimate Rewards transfer to World of Hyatt at a 1:1 ratio, and transfers are typically instant. Always confirm the award is actually available before transferring — Hyatt does not hold points transfers in escrow, and once they're in your Hyatt account, they're not going back.
