Overview

These Terms of Service govern your use of the booking search services and membership offered by FreePointsGuy ("we," "us," or "William") at freepointsguy.com. By purchasing any service or membership, you agree to these terms in full.

FreePointsGuy is an independent travel research and guidance service. We are not a licensed travel agent, airline, hotel, or credit card issuer. We are not affiliated with Chase, American Express, Capital One, World of Hyatt, Virgin Atlantic, Air France, or any other loyalty program or financial institution referenced in our content.

What the Service Fee Covers

The fee you pay for any booking search service covers the following:

The fee does not cover: the cost of your points transfer, airline or hotel taxes and fees, seat upgrades, travel insurance, or any other travel-related expense. You retain full control of your loyalty accounts at all times. We will never ask for your login credentials or account access.

Award Availability — No Guarantee

Award availability is controlled entirely by airlines and hotels, not by FreePointsGuy. We have no ability to create, hold, or guarantee award space. The following conditions apply:

Flexibility in travel dates, routing, and destination significantly improves the likelihood of finding award availability. Searches with very specific date and routing requirements are harder to fulfill and this limitation is acknowledged at the time of purchase.

Refund Policy

The service fee is non-refundable once the search has been initiated. Initiating the search means we have begun researching award availability for your submitted travel details — typically within 24 hours of receiving your intake form.

We initiate the refund policy this way because the work product — research time, award searches, and report preparation — is performed regardless of the outcome. This is similar to paying a lawyer or consultant for their time rather than for a specific outcome.

Credit policy: If we are genuinely unable to find any viable award option within your stated parameters after a thorough search, we will issue a credit toward a future search of equal value. Credits do not expire and can be applied to any service tier. Cash refunds are not issued in this circumstance.

Exceptions: If a payment was made in error (duplicate charge, technical issue), contact us at freepointsguy101@gmail.com within 48 hours and we will review and resolve promptly.

⚠️ Point transfer warning: Never transfer your loyalty points until you have confirmed award space is available and you are ready to book immediately. Point transfers from Chase, Amex, or Capital One to airline or hotel programs are irreversible. FreePointsGuy is not responsible for points transferred before confirming availability. Our reports always remind you to verify space before transferring.

Points Insider Membership

The Points Insider membership is a recurring monthly subscription billed at $19/month.

Limitation of Liability

FreePointsGuy is not liable for any losses, costs, or damages arising from:

Our maximum liability in any dispute is limited to the amount paid for the specific service in question.

For questions, concerns, or disputes, contact us at freepointsguy101@gmail.com. We aim to respond within 48 hours on business days.

We prefer to resolve issues directly before any formal dispute process is initiated. If you believe a charge was made in error or a service was not delivered, please email us first with your order details and a description of the issue.

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida. Any disputes not resolved directly will be handled through binding arbitration in Hillsborough County, Florida.

Changes to These Terms

FreePointsGuy reserves the right to update these terms at any time. Material changes will be communicated to active membership subscribers via email. Continued use of any service after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
